About ARUgreen


ARUgreen is an interactive programme for all employees and students at Anglia Ruskin University, rewarding you for the behaviours that improve individual and campus-wide sustainability and wellbeing. You'll compete as part of a team to earn Green Points for your actions. There are a whole range of actions that you can earn points for under different themes:

  • Monthly Challenge
  • Get Involved
  • Energy Saving
  • Sustainable Travel
  • Waste and Recycling
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Responsible Purchasing

2. Check the leader board

The leader board on the homepage shows how you're performing compared to your colleagues and how your team is doing compared to others at your Trust.



3. Win Prizes

There are loads of prizes available for individuals taking part in ARUgreen as well as an annual top prize for the winning team. You'll get the chance to win:

One of five £10 vouchers for the top performing individuals every month (from a choice of M&S, Love2Shop, B&Q, National Garden gift voucher, and Love Cambridge Gift Card)
One of five raffle prizes for any member who has earned Green Points that month (from a choice of an ARU day gym pass or a £5 on-campus catering voucher)
£100 for the top team to use to benefit one of the charity partners listed on the homepage
